Eddie Richards brought the rodeo to the Tri-State region in 1948, and each year since, Fort Madison hosts the greatest rodeo of the Great Lake Circuit's Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Thousands of people head to Fort Madison for this event for a week of action-packed entertainment and events.
The Tri-State Rodeo for 2018 happens September 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th (Wednesday through Saturday). This community event always brings fast-paced rodeo excitement with top-notch entertainment to the Fort Madison, Iowa area and the C.E. Richards Arena. This year, you can join Fort Madison in celebrating 71 years of the Tri-State Rodeo!
