What do you see?
In chaotic events like tornadoes, floods, earthquakes — or in the case of the Tama and Eastman Buildings, fire, there is always a decent level of disorder and unpredictability (entropy) to the way things will look after the chaos subsides. You never know what you’ll see.
One such peculiarity that my eyes were drawn to is an air conditioning unit 4 stories up on the Eastman Building. It’s still, well, hanging there, even after 12 days of settling — and weather. The fan blade even turns in the breeze. I mean, what are the odds that air conditioner would end up like that?

The investigation into the cause of the fire as well as future planning for the site continue.
