2017 white Christmas
In Burlington, we picked up the 3 inches of Christmas Eve Morning snowfall I had talked to you about last week and throughout the weekend on-air, on our Facebook page, and here on our web site. Cold temperatures kept the snow around for Christmas, and the cold will continue to keep snow on the ground in the week ahead. (Friday is our biggest window this week for more light snowfall.)
Erie, Pennsylvania, in 30 hours, including Christmas Day, picked up over 53 inches — well over 4 feet of lake effect and lake enhanced snow. Folks even have to shovel their roofs to keep them from caving in.
As you can imagine, the photos are quite stunning!
