Radio advertising is word-of-mouth squared. Some customers will compliment your business to a few friends. But our announcers are with thousands of your potential customers as they have their morning coffee and drive home at the end of a busy day. After we play their favorite song, we could talk about your business. I can help with that. My name is Pat Curtis. I’ve been at Titan Broadcasting since 2010. Before that, I worked for Galesburg Radio (WGIL, WAAG, WLSR & WKAY) and the radio stations in Monmouth (WRAM & WMOI). I have a lot of experience helping business people build their brand.
Your goal is to have potential customers think of you first. That’s the whole point of advertising. My background in message development can help make that happen. I’ve won 3 IBA (Illinois Broadcasters Association) awards for commercial writing.
Consistent advertising is key to making your business successful. However, if you’re interested in events, I do have some skills. As the co-founder and driving force behind the first 2 years of A Very Vintage Market (2016 & 2017), I have a keen understanding of what it takes to make your event a household name.
I’m a graduate of Augustana College. I have 2 children. My son, Eric Terpening, has a Masters in Nuclear Engineering from NC State and lives in upstate New York. My daughter, Beth Terpening, graduated from Western Illinois University and lives in Colorado. I live in an old farm house on the Illinois side of the river.
