Los Angeles, California street paint
Reflect more sun rays and thus absorb less heat. Drop the temperature of the pavement by up to 10 degrees.
It only costs $40,000 in taxpayer money a mile to do this and could last from 4 to 7 years (even though some folks have thicker layers of resin on their garage floors).
What are the effects on your eyes over time? What color do you paint the lines on the road? How slippery is the pavement when wet? What happens when the pavement gets blackened by dirt and traffic? What about toxicity to the environment or later paint removal cost for either a fresh coat or a new road?
